Barbara Buddenhagen, President -
Barbara Buddenhagen manages the operations and serves as President of Pardee’s Agency. As one of the owners of Pardee’s Agency, Barbara is proud to work with such compassionate and professional associates. As a NY State licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent and Broker, she assists individuals, families and businesses recommending insurance programs specifically tailored to their needs.Barbara attended SUNY Plattsburgh. Current professional affiliations include membership in the PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, NY Hudson Valley Users Group of Applied Systems, Ulster County Chamber of Commerce and the Kingston Uptown Business Association. Barbara served on the inaugural Agent’s Council for the Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, representing the Hudson Valley region. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys her grandchildren, gardening and her two cocker spaniels.

 

J. Scot Hastie, CIC, Vice President - Email
With 28 years experience as a licensed Insurance Agent, Scot focuses on building and selling comprehensive protection packages to new business clients, while balancing the critical function of providing excellent service to existing clients. In addition his responsibilities as a Principal of the Agency keeps him involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. He’ll do whatever is necessary to serve our clients and provide a stable and enjoyable place for our staff to work.

While active in all areas of insurance, Scot has specialized in serving the needs of the construction industry for many years. Scot is also proficient across the board from the most simple form of personal insurance to the complexities of the insurance needs of larger businesses.

Scot is a member of our two primary professional insurance organizations, IIABNY and PIANY. He has held the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation for 20 years. He is a member of the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President of the Ulster County Mental Health Association’s Board of Directors, Board member of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and The Town of Woodstock Board of Assessment Review.

 

Ashley Yolles, Receptionist- Email
Ashley recently joined Pardee's and the insurance industry and is the friendly face greeting you when you visit our office. She is eager to work with our customers assisting with their billing inquiries and insurance payments.

 

 

 

 

Kelly Ilgner, Personal Lines Supervisor- Email
Kelly is a licensed P & C Agent, with 15 years of customer service experience. Kelly joined Pardee’s in 2002 in the Personal Lines department. She now oversees all personal lines and training. Kelly strives for excellent service and quality coverage for all our customers. She is a problem solver and team leader with a positive attitude. Professional Affiliations include PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, NYHVUGAS, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers to help raise money for American Cancer Society and JDRF.

 

 

Rose Forte-Piccoli, Personal Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Rose started in the insurance industry in 1991 as a telemarketer. She obtained Agent’s license in 1995 for both Property & Casualty and Life, Accident and Health. Rose has been a member of the staff at Pardee’s since 2005. She works closely with customers, providing detailed information and recommendations to assist customers in deciding which coverages will fit their needs. Rose is a member of PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa is a licensed NYS Property & Casualty Broker, working in the insurance industry and Pardee’s since 2005. She delivers excellent customer service and makes sure that our customers get the best coverage to fit their individual needs. She is known for her compassion and professionalism. Deanna Tyler, Personal Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Deanna is a Licensed NYS Property & Casualty Broker with 10 years of industry experience. She joined Pardee’s in 2008. She consistently provides excellent customer service and quality of coverage. Deanna specializes in reviewing customers’ insurance needs and searching out the best solutions for them. Diane DeCicco,CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, Account Manager- Email
Diane has over 25 years experience selling and servicing all types of personal lines insurance. She joined Pardee’s Agency in 2000. She is a lifelong Kingston resident and has a strong commitment to the community and the well being of her customers. She understands how important it is to provide the right products to properly protect her customers, and she works hard to find just the right fit for their needs. Her specialties include personal auto, home and umbrella coverage. She also is an Aflac-appointed representative. Diane has her Brokers license in Property & Casualty, Life, Accident and Health. She is a member of PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce. Diane also organizes Pardee’s annual “Adopt a Family” program and is our team captain for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

 

 

Jessica Hastie, Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Jessica started in the insurance industry with Pardee’s Agency in 1992 and received NYS Brokers license in Property & Casualty in 1999. She specializes in finding the appropriate pricing and policy coverage for new customers to the agency. Jessica also acts as the liaison between the insurance companies and our staff to keep us up to date with new and revised procedures and information. She is a member of PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce. She is also active in community service- she is an active driver and past secretary for the Marbletown First Aid Unit and the past secretary for the Rondout Valley Little League.

 

 

Rachel McCluskey, Personal Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Rachel is a licensed NYS Insurance Broker employed at Pardee’s Agency since 2007. She specializes in reviewing and requoting current customers, paying close attention to their specific needs and finding the best value for them. Rachel is an expert in maneuvering through our computer system and teaching other staff the most proficient techniques to better serve our customers. Christina Kall, Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Christina began her insurance career in 1996, and became a NYS licensed Property & Casualty Broker in 1997. Her specialty is working with existing Commercial Lines customers, however she also is cross-trained to help personal lines customers as well. She is a member of PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce. She also helps organize the Pardee’s Annual Dinner Dance benefiting the American Cancer Society and Annual Golf Tournament benefiting JDRF.

 

 

 

Maria R Meyer, Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent- Email
Maria started in the insurance industry in 2001 as a Personal Lines customer service representative, utilizing her previous banking experience. She became interested in the insurance industry and worked hard to acquire her NYS Brokers Property & Casualty, and Life, Accident and Health licenses in 2004. She joined Pardees in 2005, writing and servicing all lines of business. Maria’s specialty is working with new and existing Commerical Lines customers. Karen Sasso, Claims Specialist- Email
Karen has worked in the insurance industry for 15 years, and joined Pardee's in 2000. She is a NYS licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Broker and enjoys helping customers with their insurance needs. Karen's specialty is helping our customers to navigate the process of an insurance claim. She is a member of PIANY, IIABNY and Trusted Choice, and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce. Karen is an active member of the Ricardi School PTA.

 

 


Michael A Higley, CIC, LUTCF, Account Manager Financial Services- Email
Mike has been a Licensed NYS Property & Casualty and Life, Accident and Health Broker with a financial services focus, offering and servicing life, disability and notably small group health insurance since 1987. Mike has worked with Pardee’s Agency since 1993, continuing to offer commercial property and liability insurance packages to garages, restaurants, and hospitality risks, helping small business owners find value for their insurance premium dollars. Mike holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation is NYS Partnership certified for qualified long term care insurance, markets Medicare supplement plans and non partnership long term care plans. Mike is securities registered and is actively pursuing the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Outside of work, Mike is an avid hiker, member of the Catskill 3500 club, Appalachian Mountain Club and is also an Adirondack 46er. Mike is supportive of numerous not-for–profit, charitable and religious organizations in both time and resources. Mike is also known as a good golfer.
